Liven up your cardio



Exercise is a basic element of good health.  Movement that increases your heart rate improves circulation , providing better brain stimulation while  releasing endorphins and lubricating joints and muscles.

Granted,  exercise isn't always fun, the following cardio exercises will get your body moving in an enjoyable way.

Dance Classes

One hour of dancing can burn upwards of 500 calories.  Whether it’s a salsa dancing class with your partner, or a solo hip-hop class one night a week, get moving! If group exercise isn’t your thing, pull up a dance workout video and get down in your living room!  

Cycling

Stationary or not, cycling is a great alternative to running. Cycle your way to work, or kick it up a notch and join a soul cycle class! Cycling  increases your heart rate, burning over 500 calories per hour while working your thighs, calves and glutes. Feel the burn!

Skating

Whether you’re   on  ice or on wheels, skating can be an exhilarating  exercise. In addition to working your legs and core, skating improves balance  and coordination, working your mind as well as your body.
