Adding green to your skincare for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up! Whether we’re Irish or not, we’re celebrating  this year by adding green   to our skincare!

Aloe Vera
Applying Aloe Vera is a great way to soothe rashes or irritation. Acting as an all-natural cooling agent, aloe vera can relieve burns, rashes, itching and stinging.Besides soothing your skin, Aloe Verais a first-rate makeup remover, gently breaking down the particles left on your face at the end of the day.

Mint
Of course we value  essential mint oils for their refreshing fragrance, but they can also do wonders for our skin. Mint works as an anti-inflammatory that helps calm dry and itchy skin. It is  also effective as a blemish treatment.

Cucumber
Cucumber can decrease unwanted facial puffiness. Keep a container of sliced cucumbers in your fridge. If you’ve had a late night or your eyes are tired, applying these slices will help you look refreshed for the day ahead.

Green Tea
Green tea contains a variety of antioxidants that will leave your skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. Working as an anti-aging ingredient, green tea can smooth out  fine lines and wrinkles, leaving you with picture-perfect skin on St. Patty’s Day!

Green Smoothies

Granted, these don’t go directly onto  your skin, but drinking a green smoothie can do wonders for your  complexion. The smoothie works from the inside out to provide a luminous, healthy glow.
